LIVQUEST
LIV Ecosystem & Partnership Context
The Baramon Team drives the business strategy for LIV, a sovereign AI ecosystem designed and hosted locally. LIV is built around four interconnected pillars: LIVIA (an AI school companion), LIVIU (a cultural/administrative guide), LIVQUEST (immersive gamified experiences) and LIVCAMPUS (a research platform). As our partner, LIV provides not just an AI model but a responsible, local and autonomous digital infrastructure; it was designed in Corsica to protect and valorise a regional language and culture. The model is 100 % self-hosted and free from global commercial platforms. In this partnership, Baramon steers branding, fundraising, partnerships and strategy across these pillars while ensuring the AI will always be localised – meaning that the information it provides reflects cultural contexts and sensitivities.
The LIVQUEST Experience
LIVQUEST constitutes the most sensory of LIV’s four pillars. Each LIVQUEST adventure is an immersive narrative that blends history, technology and sensation. Visitors are placed in a historically significant site and interact in real time with an AI‑generated avatar of a character who actually lived there. The character recognises and speaks with participants as if returning from another century to share memories. These interactions combine artificial intelligence with puzzles, animatronic objects and cinema‑grade sets. Experiences occur directly on the visitor’s smartphone; no external equipment or audio guide is required. Rather than a simple tour, LIVQUEST is a living narrative that adapts to each participant.
Accessibility & Localisation
LIVQUEST runs on all major smartphones (Apple, Android, Samsung, etc.) with no installation – the adventure starts from a simple link. The platform currently supports translations into more than ten languages without losing the tone or emotional weight of the original story. Visitors of any age or background can choose to ask questions, explore silently or solve puzzles at their own pace, ensuring accessibility across demographics. This multilingual design underscores our commitment to localised AI: every deployment adapts content to the regional language and cultural nuances of its host community.
Implementation & Venues
LIVQUEST can be deployed in diverse settings. Historic fortresses, museums and heritage sites can become live stages for narrative adventures; for example, “Les Remparts de la Mémoire” in Calvi uses Christopher Columbus as a central figure. Private estates, vineyards and family homes with rich histories are also candidates for custom experiences. On a larger scale, entire regions or clusters of villages can host multi‑site adventures akin to treasure hunts. A back‑office tool generates unique access codes for each visitor, enabling either free or ticketed experiences and giving site operators fine control over duration and visitor flow.
The Significance of a Responsible AI
LIV’s technology emphasises ethical design. Rather than simply consuming third‑party AI services, LIV builds and operates its own model to protect cultural data and minimise energy consumption. Technology here is a means for transmitting memory and identity, not an end in itself. By anchoring the AI locally and feeding it with regional data, LIV ensures that each deployment aligns with the community’s values and linguistic heritage – a practice Baramon extends as we scale the model to other territories (we see this as [Sociolinguistics] applied to AI).
Our Business Role & Regional Responsibilities
Baramon handles every business facet of LIV: brand positioning, fundraising, strategic planning and partner development. We secure investment and build alliances that allow LIV’s technology to thrive while remaining under local ownership. Moreover, we commit to tailoring the AI to each new region by conducting in‑depth cultural research (so the AI’s responses reflect local references).
Romain Deceuninck is the creative visionary behind LIV. The digital presentation recounts his path: he worked behind the scenes in television for eight years at Canal+ and four years at TF1, contributing to content for several iconic channels. Now an independent director, he has produced campaigns across France, Europe and the United States, blending writing, art direction and music. LIVQUEST represents the culmination of two decades of intersecting trajectories, merging technology, storytelling and emotion to create immersive experiences with lasting impact. Romain continues to steer the artistic direction of LIV and its experiential offshoots.
Manuel Théodet oversees all LIV‑related business relations within France and the broader European Union. He leads negotiations with European partners, investors and cultural institutions, ensuring that LIVQUEST’s expansion in France and in European countries align with local regulations and cultural expectations.
Hisanori Tamura leads Japan‑focused operations and manages discussions with tourism boards and agencies worldwide. His multilingual abilities and cross‑cultural experience make him adept at forging partnerships with tourism authorities and coordinating global launches of LIVQUEST.
